Avis wandered the streets of Uthral for a while. He was new to this part of the world. He left his home a few years ago to go exploring. Now he was in this human city disguised as one of them. There weren’t many of his kind left because of humans, but Avis couldn’t help but admire their ingenuity to overcome all odds and survive this long in the harsh world.
Right now Avis looked like any normal human boy. He had dark blue eyes, and brown hair that just barely covered his ears and was sort of messy looking. In human form Avis was only 16 years of age. He stood tall, towering the other boys around him. Avis was well built; he had a strong body, and was very athletic. However, all of this came from his true form.
Avis was a gold dragon, one of the rarest of all dragons. In dragon form Avis was still pretty small, he was still a young dragon, but he still put up a formidable fight with any of his brethren. Gold dragons had the ability to shape shift into any other creature, but they mostly prefer the human, of Elvin form. They can also communicate with animals, and are very sensitive with magic.
Avis continued to look around the city, he saw many wonderful things in the windows, but he could afford none of it for he had no money.

Reone's recent travels had bought her to a strange and queer place. Many took interest to her perhaps it was because she was an elf, of perhaps she was dressed in all white while most had dark or shaggy clothing, or perhaps her legs were so exposed. Though no matter the reason she did not think of these thigs. The white ice dragon had told her something of great importance was to happen here... though even he was unclear if it was meeting or battle. Though he whispered to her that this event would change her life as she new it. Reone giggled at this thought thinking she's seen so much in the four years she's been banished what could possible have changed her life so much? A man accidentally rubbed up against and began to feel a chill even on this warm day. For Reone's one skill was her ability to stay "cool" in all kinds of situations... literally. She could feel warm to the touch if she wished to be but she felt safer staying on the cool side of things. She stopped herself gazing in window of pastries which seemed so rare and exotic and alive compared to the fragile winter world she was used to seeing. Though Reone then ignored them and moved onward. Reone waited on the corner as the white ice dragon had instructed and her. She waited for quite a while but nothing happened so she stood up and scratched her head and spoke, 'maybe I'm on the wrong corner...' Reone closed her eyes and sensed something odd in the air as if a dragon were close by... she looked around and saw no dragon. She sighed and spoke, 'even my senses are out of whack in a place so crowded... i hate cities why did i even bother coming here?' She turned and accidentally bumped into a man pushing a street cart and he spoke, 'hey watch it wench!' She gave him a shocking look and spoke, 'why i never-' '-never what? Never watched where you were going?!?' The man laughed deviously and then hacked viciously but then moved on. Reone spoke, 'that wasn't a very good comeback...' The man turned and grabbed her wrist and spoke, 'why you little witch how dare you!' He pulled out a dagger and spoke, 'your going to pay for that...' Reone stood with a look of seriousness on her face and she spoke, 'i suggest you let go of me....' The man felt his hand become very cold in fact when he tried to let go his hand become stuck. Then Reone put out her other hand and put a ice shard over his mouth so he couldn't speak. She then simply pulled her wrist away and spoke, 'there now... that should teach you to disrespect others...' She then walked away and sat down and once again started waiting for this "event" that was suppose to happen. Then the man came over to her and started wailing about and finally the ice melted and he shouted, 'listen here i don't know what you are... but we don't like FREAKS like you...' Reone stood up, 'I am not a freak!' Her mind flashed back to the ridiculing of the towns people of her prophecy and she punched the man in the face and he stumbled back but regained his balance. Reone spoke, 'unless you want to remain permanently frozen... i suggest you walk away.... right now.' The man spoke, 'oh ya just try me!' He slashed his dagger but Reone dogged it and turned and froze the man instantly causing others to gasp and look. One of the them shouted, 'she's some kind of-of monster! RUNAWAY! All the people ran away in terror of her. So Reone just sat down and sighed and spoke, 'well at least it's quite...' and for the third time she began her wait.

Spring had befallen Cealio. The snow that covered much of the city and its beautiful structures began to thaw with the warmth spring brought. Flowers began to blossom and trees regained their foliage. Birds came out of their hiding spots and began to sing their songs, sharing them with the city. Other animals as well came out of hiding. Bears could be seen wondering by Cious Lake, their lips parched from sleeping so long. Large cats were roaming in the mountains, stretching their legs and waiting to hunt their first prey of spring. Even a dragon was spotted was floating on the on the air currents spreading its wings since its last flight. As the sun rose and the city began to warm up people started to leave their homes to go to all the shops to buy supplies. Everyone is usually low on supplies when winter comes to an end. The women went to the famous Cealio market street. The street was filled with all manner of shops and supply stores. Someone could buy anything from a prized ring, to a majestic sword, or a few vegetables to an immense amount of splendid meat, and in Cealio meat meant money, the more meat you had the richer you must be to have afforded it. At on end of the market street were the food shops and markets; on the other end you had the armory shops selling anything from swords to shields, spears and javelins. Scattered all throughout the market street were the inns and taverns. In addition, there were all different kinds of people in the streets. Anywhere from polite shop-keepers, or customers, to foul thieves and bandits trying to steal from anyone they can.
Avis wandered around the city taking in all of the sites. He has only been to one other city in his entire life and it was a lot smaller then this one. As he walked around he started to hear commotion a few streets away. Curious, Avis began to walk that way and saw a girl dressed in white casting some type of freezing spell on a guy, at least that is what Avis thought from his observations. Everybody in the area fled, not wanting to stay near the girl. Avis, however, was curious and walked up to her. When he got close he saw that she was an elf. Maybe that’s why that guy was messing with her, Avis thought to himself.
“Hello, I’m Avis, may I ask as to what your name is,” Avis said trying to sound as courteous as possible. Elves are the only ones who still befriend the dragons and help the dragons when they need it. Sure humans do to, but not as much as the elves. So Avis was going to be polite to this girl even if she treated people like dirt.

The Reone closed her eyes as she heard the people run away in terror and she just casted out a sigh. Though she to no other notice to them and she took in the apparitions of spring around her. Even though she was a elf of the cold she enjoyed the spring it was a lively time of year compared to the still and fragile worlds of winter. She watched as a bird twittered over her head and looked up and smiled and spoke to herself, 'spring has come for you hasn't it little one?' She watched the bird twitter above her but then the bird flew away and she bought her eyes down upon the dirt roads of the market place. Then a sense within her ticked and she could sense as if there was a dragon close by. She lifted her head up and at first her hair was in her face but a gentile warming spring breeze blew it aside revealing the teal color of her eyes. She watched as a few of the last of the people fled but she took much interest in the boy who approached her. She titled her head slightly giving off a look of elvish curiosity as if some strange child. She only watched as he approached and she thought at first perhaps he was just passing by and didn't run in fear for what ever odd reason. Reone turned her head away for a moment thinking and waiting for him to pass by but she looked out of the corner eye to see the boy was indeed walking directly at her. It was obvious by the way he made direct eye contact... almost like... a dragon would. She began to ponder to herself as to the stranger began to come closer.
He stopped before her and spoke "Hello, I’m Avis, may I ask as to what your name is?" She was silent at first and then she stood up with a small and sweet smile on her face. She stood before him and bowed and spoke, 'Greetings Avis, I'm surprised you too don't run away. My name is Reone... my profession.. a dragon whisper. I am pleased to see that not all of you run away from the sight of elvish folk like myself. You can wait with me if you want'. She sat back down and realized that she hadn't really conducted as to what they were waiting for. Though she would let Avis wonder in curiosity or ask her if he felt like doing so.

Avis sat next to the young lady and just stared at her without realizing it, “Why should I be afraid. Elves are very friendly and good nature,” he said then averted his eyes when he realized he was staring. “A dragon whisperer? I’ve never heard of that,” Malsavis said, and indeed he had never heard of that before.
“So what are we waiting for?” He asked smiling. Avis was a strong, healthy dragon, and looked that way in human form. However, compared to the beauty of the elves, Avis, in his human form, felt ugly sitting next to Reone. He wore no armor, finding no need for it in a battle, for he could just simply change his form to fit who, and what ever he was battling.
“Would you mind if I changed into something different?” He asked her, not worried what her reaction would be when he changed.

Reone cleared her throat and began, 'yes a dragon whisper... i've been chosen by a rare dragon and he is a gaurdian over so many certain types of dragons. Since he is the last of his kind and he therefore very rare I am his connection between he and the world below him. So i travel trying to bring peace to the world and well help and aid dragons in anyway i can. What are we waiting for? oh yes well the dragon told me to come here and wait for some event was suppose to happen though i'm not sure what it is... it could be a meeting or a battle... i have no idea.' She then paused and thoguht herself again 'Which reminds me... have you seen any dragons around? I've been sensing one around here but i don't seem to be able to find one...' Though it rang clear in her mind as he asked if he coould change into somthing else and she gave him a suspicous look and spoke sly-like, 'you wouldn't happen to be that dragon would you? No i don't mind if you change into what ever it is you will change into.'

Avis smiled and then thought about what he wanted to change into. Finally, his mind settled on changing into a white tiger. There was something about tigers that always seemed to fascinate Avis. He liked the way they looked, and moved how graceful, yet powerful they are. Once the transformation was complete he sat beside Reone and used his mind to speak with her.
“I am indeed a dragon. What business does your master have with me?” He asked her while gazing at some deer off in the distance.

Reone though long and hard to answer his question and for some time could think of no reply. She beheld the lost thoughts even on her fourm thinking deeply in the very chambers of the secrets of which the mind might have held an answer if any indirectly. She then spoke, 'a white tiger i see...' was all she could answer for the moment till her eyes set off on the deer and wondered why a creature such as that would be doing in the city. Reone then sighed and gave no answer to question and asked, 'what brings you to this city?'
